Day Care

Canine Companions provides a full day of exercise and play in small social groups. Dogs can run outside in a fenced-in yard, play on gym equipment or splash in a "doggie" pool. Inside they have time to rest, snack, chew on a bone or just get lots of attention.

Daily Activities

7:00 – 8:30 Morning Arrivals
Most dogs are dropped off on the way to work; any convenient time is fine. Dogs play inside and out while waiting for their buddies to arrive.

8:30 – 11:30 Outside Playtime
Dogs run, "romp & rastle", play in groups, fetch balls, climb on doggie gym equipment and on hot days, have cooling pool breaks with their friends.

11:30 – 12:30 Outside Stroll
On leash walks are available for dogs that prefer it.

12:30 – 2:30 Lunch & Naps
Lunch or snacks, then naptime in crates and on doggie beds. Also time for individual tender loving attention, brushing, massage, etc.

2:30 – 4:30 Outside Playtime
A slower paced version of the morning activities involving more one-on-one attention.

4:30 – 5:30 Quiet Play & Dinners
Quiet activities & mental games such as the buster cube, puzzle ball, etc. Dinner time for boarding dogs.

5:30 – 7:00 Rest Time
Unwinding period while waiting to go home or before spending the night.

Hours of Operation
Doors are open Monday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Drop-off and pick-up anytime during these hours. No day care on Sundays and most holidays.

we also have pick and drop off at 8am to 12:00pm and again at 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Sundays for all dogs that are boarding.

Special Needs Dogs Welcome
Any elder dog or a dog requiring medication, specific diet or special attention will be given plenty of tender loving care. Our staff will work directly with your veterinarian, behaviorist or trainer to see that all needs are met.
